ROSS: Customer Maintenance

Use Ross version of customer maintenance to copy an existing customer ONLY.

All customer maintenance should be done in the SCC Customer Maintenance program!

The program contains the "Spartan" rules for customers.

It has the extra fields we need that are not in the Ross version.

It controls the changes needed to terminate a customer so all the fields are properly marked.

The changes are made in separate Spartan programs so that the upgrade is simpler with primarily only changes to the copy function in the Ross program.

Use the selection to find customers meeting specific requirements.

A.  Find all the customers for a Corp Reporting group.

1. key Corp Reporting Group
2. limit the search to include only "INV" addresses (it will pull in the Master records too)
3. sort by address code
4. now you see the customers for this group.
5. export to excel if you want.

B. List of all customers for a RM

1. key salesperson     600
2. limit the search to include only "INV" addresses (it will pull in the Master records too) 
3. sort by address code
4. now you see the customers for this RM.

C.  Exclude EU customers

           this is the initial value

            to see End User customers, blank out the exclusion of "EUORD" customers from the selection

Use the LOV to find helpful info like the customers in a particular combo group or Sales Reporting Group or Payment Customer.

“CUST_MAST” address code refers to a place marker for the CUSTOMERS table that has no address code.

The Customer_addresses records are listed after the master record in address code order.

This is so we can see all the info from both tables at the same time and update both tables easily.

The Mode allows you to switch from codes maintenance to Address Maintenance.

Stock transfers are not “real” physical locations so they have not “real” address.

Do not show the drop ship addresses is the default.
